Paper Camera for Android

Today at the Amazon Appstore Paper Camera is the free application of the day ($1.99 normal price). I took a few pictures and applied some of Paper Cameras filters to some old pictures as well. What you get is a very easy way to create something different with your pictures. The current version on Amazon has 11 filters which can all be tweaked beyond the standard setting. You can share them to your favorite social sites, e-mail, text and more from within the application. This one is worth checking out for sure.

Vignette Effects, Camera App for Android

Vignette for Android has some great lens settings for a wide range of shot options, Not bad for a phone camera. This is not the easiest picture app I have used and it takes a little time to process the photos but the results are typically great.

4th of July

4th of July in my hometown is a holiday like no other. It is by far and away the busiest day of the year, surpassing Christmas and Thanksgiving. Reason being we have a beautiful lake, amazing weather, and a fireworks show which takes place from a tiny island on the lake.

This years weekend started off with some of my best friends coming over for a pool party.

The next day was time to go out on the lake. A lot of people showed up at the dock today, the weather could not have been better and the Blue Cheese Burgers were perfect.

The 4th of July rolled around and the day started off pretty great but then the weather quickly changed on us. We were on our way over to our boat and it started pouring rain. We quickly turned around on the golf cart and headed home (barely making it).

With the weather all cleared up we headed over to our friends house for their Awesome Annual 4th of July Party. The drive over was a little hectic as our Golf Carts Batteries decided to call it quits on us so I got quite the workout trying to push that thing up some hills. Luckily some friends of ours came to the rescue and helped us get to our destination (Thanks Guys).
